In accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”), ASTRADE TRADING LTD. (“hereinafter referred to as ‘CONNJECT’) is defined as the data controller with respect to the processing of your personal data. Under Article 10 “Obligation of Disclosure” of the Law, data controllers are obliged to inform the natural persons whose personal data they process on certain issues.
This text has been prepared by CONNJECT to ensure compliance with the legislation and to act in a transparent and accountable manner.

Definitions
According to the Law No. 6698:

  • Personal data means any information relating to a natural person who is identified or identifiable;

  • Processing of personal data means any operation or set of operations performed upon personal data such as obtaining, recording, storing, preserving, altering, re-organizing, disclosing, transferring, making available, classifying or using by wholly or partly automatic means or otherwise as part of any data filing system;

  • Data subject means the natural person whose personal data is processed;

  • Data controller means the real or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is responsible for the establishment and management of the data filing system;

  • Disclosure obligation means the obligation of the data controller or the person authorised by the controller to inform the data subject at the time of obtaining personal data about the identity of the controller, the purposes of processing, to whom and for what purpose the personal data may be transferred, the method of collecting the personal data and the legal reason, and the other rights listed in Article 11 of the Law.

Data Subject: You, as the visitor of our website under the domain [www.connject.com], whose certain personal data are processed by us by means of cookies and different identifiers, are regarded as the “data subject” within the meaning of the Law.
Data Controller: CONNJECT is the data controller for your personal data, determining the purposes and means of processing and responsible for the establishment and management of the data filing system.

Information on Cookies;
On our website, we also process certain of your personal data by means of cookies. Cookies (including advertising identifiers and web identifiers) and similar technologies (all such technologies shall be referred to as “Cookie(s)”).

What is a Cookie?
Cookies are very small text files (generally consisting of letters and numbers) placed on your computer (or other device such as a smartphone or tablet) by the websites you visit through your browser. Cookies allow the website to recognise the user and the device, store certain information about the user’s preferences and previous actions. Collection of Personal Data by Means of Cookies

2. Functional Cookies
Functional cookies help fulfil certain functions of the website such as sharing content on social media platforms, collecting feedback and other third-party features. Functional cookies are also used to remember users’ preferences on the website; for example to remember language, currency preference, “remember me” during login so that the same browser does not ask for login again when logging in from the same browser. Via functional cookies personal data are processed for the purposes of remembering preferences and improving customer experience and the processing is based on your explicit consent within the meaning of Article 5/1 of the Law. Cookies originating from abroad are processed on the basis of your explicit consent under Article 9/4(c) of the Law and by way of standard contractual clauses referred to in Article 9/4 of the Law.

4. Marketing Cookies
Marketing cookies are used for presenting advertising/campaigns according to users’ interests and to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Via marketing cookies the personal data processed are used for the purposes of conducting marketing analysis studies, carrying out the product/service marketing processes and advertising/campaign/promotion processes and the processing is based on your explicit consent under Article 5/1 of the Law. Cookies originating from abroad are processed on the basis of your explicit consent under Article 9/4(c) of the Law and by way of standard contractual clauses referred to in Article 9/4 of the Law.

pagead/1p-user-list/# | 3rd Party Cookie: Google, USA | During session | Tracks whether a visitor has shown interest in a specific product across different websites and how they switch between websites. This information is used to measure advertising efforts and web-sites’ referral fees. This service is used by 3rd-party advertising hubs for real-time bidding.

Apart from cookies, we may also process some of your personal data via different identifiers during your navigation and transactions on our site. During your navigation and transactions on our site some of your personal data may be recorded. Below you will be informed activity-based about your personal data. If you are subject to the processes under the headings specified, you may access detailed information regarding your processed personal data by clicking the headings.

If you simply visit our website;
• Connection time, disconnection time, IP address, the IP protocol used and the amount of data transferred in connection with the transaction security information.
o For the purpose of carrying out the activities in compliance with the legislation and operating information security processes, in accordance with the right whose establishment, use or protection is required under Article 5/2(a) of the Law (in accordance with Article 5 of the Law on the Regulation of Publications on the Internet and Combating Crimes Committed through These Publications No. 5651) these data are processed by us.

Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data
Data subjects may apply to CONNJECT regarding their personal data. Under the Law you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
a) To learn whether your personal data have been processed;
b) If your personal data have been processed, to request information regarding this;
c) To learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose;
ç) To know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your personal data have been transferred;
d) If your personal data have been processed incomplete or incorrectly, to request correction thereof;
e) In the event that the reasons requiring the processing of your personal data have ceased, to request deletion or destruction of your personal data;
f) To request that the third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred be notified of the transactions carried out pursuant to (d) and (e);
g) To object to a result arising from the analysis of your processed personal data exclusively by automated systems;
ğ) To demand compensation for the damage you have incurred due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

Your application must include:
▪ Your name, surname and your signature if the application is in writing;
▪ For Turkish citizens your T.C. national identity number; for foreigners your nationality, passport number or, if any, your identity number;
▪ Your address for notification (residence or workplace);
▪ If any, your electronic mail address, phone and fax number;
▪ The subject of your request;
and any information and documents related to the subject must also be attached to your application.
